The doctoral study programme enables students to acquire general competences like: in-depth knowledge of contemporary macroeconomic theories and their impact on the performance of economy in general and of a particular organisation, capacity to apply the acquired knowledge in problem solving in organisations, capacity for critical thinking and evaluating scientific results, capacity to understand and prepare demanding analyses and explanations of scientific research achievements, capacity for working in domestic and international research groups, strategic skills of publishing scientific results and of applying modern research methods, tools and procedures adapted to the research problem.
